I put Rex into his infant car seat carrier and started to strap him in.
John David: I want to fuckle it.
Me: Buckle. B-b-b-buh. BUCKLE.
John David: Fuckle.
Me: Say baby.
John David: Baby!
Me: Say booger.
John David: BOOGER!! [huge smile]
Me: Now say buckle.
John David: Fuckle.
Hey, I tried!
He's been becoming increasingly independent. He wants to do everything himself, especially buckling his own car seat (and Rex's). He'll say, "I do it!" if I try to jump in and help. He has pinched his fingers in the buckle several times and he will cry because it hurts.......but that doesn't stop him from trying again the next time.
