quick update

Here's a super quick update.

Rex has a little umbilical hernia. It's no big deal though. There's a chance it could go away on it's own and if not, well, it's just a cosmetic issue that we may consider taking care of in the future. But in case you are wondering what it looks like, here it is. Dr. Breck said it is common amongst "certain ethnicities." Ha.

Rex has also been flashing us some big grins. He even cooed at Dr. Breck last week during his well baby visit. He weighed 13 lbs 4 oz on Thursday and then turned 6 weeks old on Saturday.

Also, here's a pic of John David modeling a hat I knit for him. It matches one that I made Rex a few weeks ago.
